The Doktorvolt TD series construction distribution board is a compact distribution device designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, in workshops, and in locations where quick connection of single-phase and three-phase receivers is required. Unlike the fully equipped DV or ECO series distribution boards, the TD model is supplied as bare - delivered with sockets and internal wiring, but without circuit breakers and residual current devices. This allows the installer to select the protections themselves based on the specific requirements of the facility.

The enclosure, with dimensions 360 × 250 × 185 mm, accommodates 12 modules on a single TH/TS35 rail. It is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to impact and weather conditions. The front plate is grey RAL 7035, and the rear is black. Polycarbonate doors provide visibility of the internal apparatus without the need to open them. An EPDM rubber seal protects against moisture, and stainless steel screws guarantee the durability of connections even with frequent field use.

The device operates at a rated voltage of 230/400 V AC and a continuous current of up to 64 A. The maximum short-circuit current ICC is ≤ 10 kA, allowing for safe cooperation with typical protections in upstream distribution boards.

Electrical equipment

The distribution board is equipped with three high-quality industrial sockets:

The power socket is type 3451 - one of the most popular industrial sockets in Europe. The 230 V sockets operate in the French system with a grounding pin (2P+E), which means compatibility with both French plugs and standard European (Schuko) plugs.

A PG-16 cable gland is included, allowing for the entry of a power cable with an appropriate cross-section.

Internal wires are made of H07V-K flexible wire - flexible and easy to arrange within the enclosure:

• phase L - black wire 2,5-4 mm²
• neutral N - blue wire 2,5-4 mm²
• protective PE - yellow-green wire 2,5-4 mm²

Cross-sections were selected based on the current-carrying capacity at the rated current of the sockets. The wiring complies with CPR (reaction to fire) and RoHS standards.

Practical applications

The TD model is effective everywhere quick and safe power distribution is necessary:

• Construction site - powering power tools and work lighting during the construction of a single-family house or an industrial facility
• Roadworks - a mobile power source for repair crews without permanent electrical infrastructure
• Workshops and garages - where a power socket is needed to connect three-phase machines (e.g., lathe, welder)
• Green areas and outdoor events - temporary power for stages, catering stands, or service points

The IP44 enclosure protects against water splashes and dust - sufficient for outdoor use in typical weather conditions.

For the installer, the key information is the lack of factory-installed breakers - the TD model requires equipping it with its own overcurrent protections (e.g., C16A single- and three-pole) and optionally residual current devices before commissioning at the site.

Standards and certificates

The distribution board meets the requirements of the CE directive, as well as CEI-23-48/49 and IEC 670 standards. The manufacturer has implemented a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The design complies with the requirements of the IEC 61439 low-voltage swi
