Portable construction distribution board for site and workshop power

The TD 32A 2x230V Schuko distribution board by Doktorvolt is a complete solution for power distribution on construction sites, in industrial halls, workshops, and for field work. The device simultaneously provides two single-phase circuits (230 V) and one three-phase power circuit (400 V), allowing it to meet most energy needs at a workstation.

Housing and construction

The housing made of technopolymer ensures resistance to mechanical impacts and atmospheric conditions typical for construction sites. The dimensions 360 × 250 × 200 mm fit within standard surface-mounted enclosures - the distribution board does not protrude excessively from the wall nor does it take up much space in limited working areas. The front plate in grey RAL 7035 blends well with typical industrial environments; the rear plate is black.

The IP44 protection rating means the housing is sealed against solid objects above 1 mm and splashing water from any direction - sufficient for outdoor use under normal weather conditions. The EPDM rubber seal maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range. The mounting screws are made of stainless steel - they do not corrode even with prolonged contact with moisture.

The set includes a TH/TS 35 rail for mounting modular devices and a PG-16 cable gland, allowing for the introduction of power cables without additional purchases.

Electrical equipment

The distribution board is equipped with two single-phase Schuko sockets (German system) with parameters of 230 V / 16 A, each in IP54 class - they are protected against dust and water jets, which is important when working outdoors or in damp rooms. The sockets feature precision contacts and a solid mechanical construction, reducing the risk of loose connections or overheating.

The third socket is a Type 3451 three-phase power socket with parameters of 400 V / 32 A / IP44, red in color - intended for powering devices requiring higher power (welders, concrete mixers, compressors). All three power points are ready for connection after the distribution board is installed.

Internal wiring consists of H07V-K control cables with cross-sections of 2,5 mm² and 4 mm² in three insulation colors - yellow-green (protective), black (phase), and blue (neutral). These wires comply with the CPR standard regarding reaction to fire.

Operating parameters and safety

The total rated current of the distribution board is 64 A, allowing for the simultaneous loading of all three sockets while maintaining a power reserve. The maximum short-circuit current ICC ≤ 10 kA defines the ability of the distribution board to withstand a short circuit in less than a second without damage - an important parameter for temporary installations where grid conditions can be unstable.

The product meets the requirements of the following standards:

• CE - authorization for trade on the European market,
• IEC 61439 - typical testing for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies,
• CEI-23-48/49 / IEC 670 - standards regarding plug-in sockets,
• RoHS - absence of hazardous substances in components,
• TÜV SÜD and ISO 9001:2015 - certification of the manufacturer's quality management system.

Production takes place in the modern Doktorvolt facility in Malichów (Opole Voivodeship). Each unit undergoes individual testing before the issuance of a certificate of compliance with IEC standards.
