Enclosure construction and materials

The TD construction site distribution board features a robust enclosure made of technopolymer - a material resistant to mechanical impacts and the weather conditions found on construction sites. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, while the rear plate is black. The door is made of polycarbonate, ensuring its durability during frequent opening and closing.

The enclosure has dimensions of 350 × 250 × 185 mm and is designed for surface mounting. The protection rating of the sockets is IP44 - which means resistance to objects >1 mm and splashing water from any direction.

Tightness is ensured by an EPDM rubber gasket mounted around the entire perimeter of the door. The mounting screws are made of stainless steel, so they do not corrode even during long-term exposure to moisture. The set also includes a PG-16 gland allowing for the entry of power cables.

The enclosure accommodates 12 modules on a single TH/TS 35 rail (which is also included). The rated voltage of the enclosure itself is 1000 V, providing a significant safety margin during typical operation in construction installations.

Electrical equipment

Model DV-9917-F is an unarmed distribution board - it does not contain circuit breakers or residual current devices. However, the following are available:

• three Mennekes sockets, single-phase 230 V / 16 A, each in a 2P+E configuration (two working pins + earth pin), which corresponds to the French system commonly used in Poland,
• the sockets have an IP44 protection rating.

Internal wiring is made of H07V-K control cables:

The rated current of the distribution board is 48 A, with an operating voltage of 230 V / 50 Hz AC. The short-circuit capacity ICC is ≤ 10 kA, and the RDF coefficient is 1 (full load).

Readiness for work is immediate - simply connect the power cable to the PG-16 gland and attach it to the terminal block inside the enclosure.

The absence of breakers in this model means that the distribution board functions as a sub-distribution board - it must be powered from a previously protected circuit. For the installer, this is an advantage for cost savings; for the end user, it means the necessity to provide separate overcurrent and/or residual current protection on the supply side.
