The TD construction distribution board with Mennekes sockets is a ready-to-use distribution device designed for temporary electrical power supply in locations without permanent infrastructure. Unlike distribution boards factory-fitted with protective devices, this model remains unarmed - the installer selects fuse links or circuit breakers based on the specific location and load.

The enclosure, with dimensions 360 × 250 × 200 mm, accommodates 12 modules on a single TH/TS 35 rail (DIN rail). The surface-mounted design allows for quick installation on a wall, pole, or temporary structure without the need for recessing. The grey front plate in RAL 7035 blends well with typical construction site equipment and ensures the readability of socket descriptions even under bright lighting.

Enclosure materials and weather resistance

The housing is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to impact and the action of chemical agents typical for the construction environment (greases, solvents, dust). The polycarbonate door maintains rigidity under varying temperatures and does not become brittle under UV radiation. The EPDM rubber seal maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range - from frost to heat - which is essential for working in open areas year-round.

The IP44 protection rating means the enclosure is sealed against solid bodies >1 mm and protected against water splashes from any direction. This is a sufficient level for working under a canopy or in rainy conditions, but the distribution board is not intended to be submerged in water or used in extremely humid rooms.

The mounting screws are made of stainless steel, so they do not require periodic tightening or replacement due to corrosion. The set also includes a PG-29 cable gland, allowing for the entry of a thick power cable without additional accessories.

Socket configuration and electrical parameters

The distribution board offers three types of sockets - each in a Mennekes version:

Power sockets allow for the connection of heavy machinery - welders, concrete mixers, portable cranes - requiring three-phase power. Two single-phase sockets with a grounding pin (French system) are used for hand tools and work lighting.

The rated current of the distribution board is 80 A, with a rated voltage of 230/400 V at a frequency of 50 Hz. The short-circuit strength ICC ≤ 10 kA ensures installation safety in the event of a short circuit on the load side.

The wiring is made of H07V-K control cables with cross-sections of 2,5 mm² and 10 mm² in yellow-green (protective), black (phase), and blue (neutral) colors. This configuration enables correct connection in accordance with the IEC standard for temporary devices.
