The TD-S distribution board is a complete distribution solution designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, workshops, and industrial plants. The manufacturer has equipped it with two single-phase sockets 230 V / 16 A in Schuko standard (German Type F system) and one power socket 400 V / 16 A - all factory-wired and protected against overload.

The surface-mounted enclosure with dimensions 365 × 250 × 200 mm accommodates 12 modules on a single TH35 rail. It is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to impact and weather conditions. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, and the rear is black. The door is made of polycarbonate, the seal from EPDM rubber, and the mounting screws from stainless steel - a combination of materials typical for IP44 class industrial distribution boards.

Sockets, overcurrent protection, and wiring

The 230 V Schuko Mennekes sockets have an IP54 protection rating (dust-tight + protection against water splashes), and the 400 V Mennekes power socket (red, five-pole) operates in the IP44 class. Each socket has its own overcurrent circuit breaker manufactured by SEZ:

• Power socket: C16A, 10 kA, three-pole (3P)
• Schuko sockets: B16A, 10 kA, single-pole - two separate breakers

The higher breaking capacity (10 kA) ensures effective short-circuit interruption even with large initial currents, e.g., during the startup of welding motors or compressors.

The manufacturer uses H07V-K wire:

• Yellow-green wire (protective): 4 mm²
• Blue wire (neutral): 4 mm²
• Black wire (phase): 2,5 mm²

A protective conductor cross-section larger than the phase conductor provides a good safety margin for industrial loads. All wires comply with CPR and RoHS standards.

Production standard, certificates, and kit contents

The distribution board meets the requirements of IEC/EN 61439-3, which defines the testing conditions for temporary distribution boards regarding electrical safety. The overcurrent circuit breakers have VDE certificates and comply with CSN EN 60898 and SN EN 60947-2 standards.

The manufacturer declares a production management system certified by TÜV SÜD - which in practice means repeatable manufacturing quality between units.

Factory-installed components include the busbar assembly (2F + N + PE), CLIPFIX 35-5 end clips from Phoenix Contact, and a PG-16 gland for the power cable entry. Mounting screws with caps are included in the kit.

The rated current of the distribution board is 32 A, and the operating voltage is 230/400 V AC /50 Hz. An RDF coefficient of 0.9 allows for a continuous load of approximately 29 A without overheating - sufficient for most construction tools connected simultaneously.
