Housing and construction

The TD-S construction distribution board features a solid surface-mounted housing made of technopolymer (body) and polycarbonate (door), ensuring mechanical resistance with relatively low weight. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, while the rear plate is black. The dimensions of the housing with installed sockets are 365 × 260 × 125 mm, which, with a single row of modules, allows for compact wall mounting without occupying excessive space.

The housing achieves an IP44 protection rating, meaning effective protection against objects larger than 1 mm and water splashes - sufficient for use on open construction sites or in workshops. The seal is made of EPDM rubber, and the mounting screws are made of stainless steel, guaranteeing the durability of connections even in high humidity conditions. The set also includes a PG-21 cable gland for introducing power cables.

Production takes place under a management system certified by TÜV SÜD. The distribution board meets the requirements of CE, CEI-23-48/49, and IEC 670 standards, and its design takes into account the testing requirements according to DIN 61439-3 for distribution boards.

Electrical equipment

Six electrical sockets are mounted on the front panel of the distribution board:

• 2 power sockets (CEE) - 400 V / 32 A, five-pole (3P+N+PE), red color, Type 3451. The IP44 ingress protection class allows for connecting industrial devices outdoors.
• 4 single-phase sockets - 230 V / 16 A, two-pole with grounding pin (2P+E), German Schuko system (Type F). These sockets have a higher ingress protection class - IP54 - providing better protection against dust and water splashes.

Each socket has its own overcurrent protection:

The short-circuit strength of all devices is ≤10 kA. The circuit breakers have certificates confirmed by independent laboratories.

The interior of the distribution board contains an insulated three-phase busbar (3F) with a conductor cross-section of 12 mm². The wiring is made of H07V-K type wires - yellow-green (protective), black (phase), and blue (neutral). The wires comply with CPR standards and the RoHS directive.

Applications and operation

The TD-S distribution board with a rated current of 96 A and a working voltage of 230/400 V AC /50 Hz is suitable everywhere temporary power for multiple devices simultaneously is needed:

• Construction sites and roadwork areas - thanks to the IP44 housing and robust power sockets;
• Industrial plants and production halls - the possibility to connect both power machines (welders, compressors) and power tools;
• Car workshops and garages - Schuko sockets allow for connecting standard equipment;
• Outdoor events and green areas - with limited exposure to atmospheric conditions;
• Independent single-family house construction - a complete "turnkey" solution ready for connection.

The RDF coefficient informs the designer of what percentage of the sum of the currents of individual circuits can be assumed for power demand calculations - typically, it is assumed that not all sockets are fully loaded simultaneously.

The distribution board is delivered as a ready-to-connect, factory-wired set, enclosed under a transparent protective cover. The set includes mounting screws with caps and CLIPFIX end holders for mounting the busbar.
