Compact construction distribution board with six Schuko

The TD-S construction distribution board is a ready-to-connect distribution device designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, in workshops, garages, as well as during roadworks and outdoor events. Equipped with six single-phase 230 V / 16 A sockets based on the German Schuko system, it can power six devices or tools simultaneously, making it a practical energy distribution point in locations without a permanent electrical installation.

Enclosure and operating conditions

The enclosure is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to impact and weather conditions. The front plate is grey RAL 7035, and the rear plate is black. The door is made of polycarbonate, with an EPDM rubber seal ensuring durable tightness in changing weather conditions. Stainless steel mounting screws provide additional protection against corrosion.

The IP54 protection rating means dust-tightness and resistance to water splashes from any direction - therefore, the distribution board is suitable for both enclosed rooms and open construction sites exposed to rain or dust. The enclosure dimensions are 360 × 250 × 185 mm, and the rated voltage of the enclosure is 1000 V. A PG-16 cable gland is included, allowing for the introduction of the power cable.

Operating parameters: rated current 48 A, rated voltage 230 V / 50 Hz AC, short-circuit capacity ≤ 10 kA, and an RDF coefficient of 0.9.

Sockets and modular apparatus

Each of the six 230 V / 16 A sockets in IP54 design (2P+E Schuko) is protected by a separate C16 1P 10 kA circuit breaker - three circuit breakers serve two sockets each. This solution allows for the separation of individual socket circuits: a failure of one device does not cause a loss of power to the remaining five.

Inside the enclosure, a TH/TS 35 rail is installed, allowing for expansion with additional modular elements. The wiring is made of H07V-K control cables with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² in yellow-green (protective), black (phase), and blue (neutral) colors. CLIPFIX 35-5 end clips are used to secure the rail.

The enclosure accommodates 12 modules arranged in a single row - this configuration provides spare space for any potential expansion of the installation with additional apparatus.

Compliance and certificates

The distribution board meets the requirements of European standards confirmed by the CE certificate, as well as CEI-23-48/49 and IEC 670 standards for distribution enclosures. The circuit breakers are certified according to IEC 61008-1, EN 61008-1, and PN-EN-61008-1, with VDE homologation. The manufacturer - Doktorvolt - operates under a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and the design of the distribution board complies with the wiring layout according to the IEC 61439 series of standards.
