Professional power supply for construction sites and outdoor use
The TD-S/FI distribution board is a complete solution for electrical power distribution in conditions requiring constant access to electricity. Equipped with four single-phase Schuko sockets and two three-phase power sockets, it allows for the simultaneous powering of both portable tools and devices (drills, heat guns, work lighting) as well as equipment requiring power supply - welders, concrete mixers, or compressors. Thanks to the Type A residual current device (40A/30mA), the distribution board ensures protection against indirect contact for the entire connected circuit.
The configuration with two 230V circuits (each protected by a C16 1P circuit breaker with a breaking capacity of 10kA) and two power circuits (C16 3P breakers, also 10kA) enables independent protection of each group of receivers - a failure of one device does not interrupt the operation of the others.
Housing and construction
The technopolymer housing is characterized by high mechanical resistance while maintaining a low mass. The front plate in grey RAL 7035 is made of polycarbonate - a material resistant to impact and UV radiation. The black back of the housing additionally masks any dirt that may occur during operation.
The IP44 protection rating of the housing itself is supplemented by the Schuko sockets with an IP54 rating - they are more resistant to dust and water splashes than the distribution board body. The power sockets have IP44. The EPDM rubber seal maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range and does not degrade under atmospheric conditions. Stainless steel mounting screws eliminate the problem of thread corrosion when working in a humid environment.
The dimensions of the housing with installed sockets are 360 × 250 × 185 mm - the compact shape facilitates transport and placement even in tight spaces. A PG-16 cable gland is included, allowing for the introduction of the power cable immediately after unpacking.
Sockets and internal apparatus
The distribution board offers four single-phase 230V/16A sockets with an IP54 ingress protection class and two three-phase 400V/16A power sockets with an IP44 class. Each socket is connected to a dedicated circuit with its own circuit breaker, which eliminates the risk of overloading one circuit by receivers connected to another.
The 3F/11M/12mm² phase busbar with a set of end caps enables correct phase separation even under full load of all sockets simultaneously. The wiring, made of H07V-K flexible cables with a cross-section of 2,5 mm² (yellow-green wire as protective, blue as neutral, black as phase), meets the standards for temporary installations.
Applications and operating conditions
The distribution board is suitable everywhere where there is a lack of permanent electrical infrastructure:
Construction site - powering power tools, work lighting, and auxiliary devices,
Roadworks - operating equipment during surface renovations,
Workshops and garages - connecting power devices unavailable with standard sockets,
Green areas and outdoor events - temporary power for stages, catering stands, or dance floors,
Self-build housing - a complete solution for the duration of the investment.
The rated current of the distribution board is 40 A, and the maximum short-circuit current ICC is ≤10 kA. An RDF coefficient equal to 0,7 informs about the permissible continuous load during interactive operation - an important parameter when designing a temporary installation.
