Professional construction site power center
Working in excavations, floor screeds, and structural assembly requires a power source that can withstand dust, mud, and changing weather. The TGD-S/FI series construction distribution board was designed for such realities - it offers stable single-phase and three-phase power and a full set of VDE-certified protections.
The housing made of durable plastic (reinforced polycarbonate) has a gray front and a black back. Dimensions of 355 × 255 × 125 mm allow for convenient transport between work zones thanks to ergonomic handles. The box achieves an IP65 protection rating, while the sockets built into the cover are IP44. This difference is of practical importance: the housing itself is dust-tight and resistant to water jets, while the sockets are protected against splashes and solid objects larger than 1 mm. The resealable cover and appropriately selected cable glands protect the equipment from moisture even during rain or work on wet surfaces.
Variety of power sockets
The distribution board offers six sockets located on the cover - this configuration allows for the simultaneous powering of both small handheld power tools and industrial machines drawing high current:
- 4 × SCHUKO socket (type F) - single-phase, 230 V / 16 A, IP54. Used for connecting drills, grinders, battery chargers, and portable LED lighting.
- 1 × CEE three-phase socket - 400 V / 16 A, IP44/VDE. Supports concrete mixers, electric heaters, and piston compressors.
- 1 × CEE three-phase socket - 400 V / 32 A, IP44/VDE. Will power electric circular saws replacing petrol saws, construction cranes, or plastering machines.
Each CEE socket is equipped with a mechanical lock preventing the plug from being pulled out under load - an important feature on a mobile construction site.
VDE certified protective equipment
The VDE Association (Verband der Elektrotechnik) is one of the most demanding European certification bodies. Doktorvolt equipment with this mark guarantees declared operating parameters confirmed by laboratory tests - stable tripping characteristics across the entire operating temperature range and low contact resistance reducing power losses.
The distribution board is fitted with C-characteristic MCBs (slower reaction to short-term current surges during motor startup - eliminates unnecessary trips):
- 2 × C16 MCB (single-pole) - protects SCHUKO circuits; breaking capacity 10 kA.
- 1 × C16 MCB (three-pole) - protects the CEE 400 V / 16 A socket.
- 1 × C32 MCB (three-pole) - protects the CEE 400 V / 32 A socket.
- type A residual current device - 40 A / 30 mA / 10 kA, four-pole. Reacts to leakage currents above the safe value, protecting against electric shock.
The combined operation of both types of switches provides comprehensive protection against the effects of short circuits and against leakage currents that pose a direct threat to user health.
H07V-K class internal wiring
The factory wiring is made of H07V-K flexible stranded wires (class 5), which facilitates potential service and reduces the risk of fractures during transport vibrations:

All ends are crimped with ferrules - a larger contact surface limits the self-loosening of terminal screws even when the distribution board is repeatedly moved between work zones.
