The TD-S/FI SET portable construction distribution board is a ready-to-use distribution device designed for the temporary power supply of power tools, lighting, and machinery on construction sites, in workshops, and during field work. It features a mobile design on a steel stand with a protective canopy - the entire unit is compact enough to fit easily in a delivery van, yet robust enough to withstand harsh operating conditions.

Construction and mobility

The stand is made of galvanized steel, coated with red powder paint in RAL 3002. This combination ensures effective corrosion protection - the distribution board does not rust even when working in the rain or on damp ground. The powder coating is abrasion-resistant, so the stand maintains its aesthetic appearance despite transport and frequent repositioning.

The canopy protects the enclosure from construction material splashes (gypsum, concrete, plaster), which is particularly important during finishing works. The enclosure of the distribution board itself holds 12 modules in one row and has dimensions of 360 × 260 × 185 mm. It is made of high-quality plastic - the front plate is gray (RAL 7035), the rear is black. The doors are tinted transparent, allowing the status of the modular apparatus to be seen without the need to open them. A foam gasket around the door supports the IP44 ingress protection class.

The set also includes a PG-29 cable gland, enabling the tight entry of additional cabling.

Power supply and sockets

The distribution board is equipped with two three-phase power sockets (400 V) - one with a rated current of 16 A and one 32 A - and four single-phase 230 V / 16 A sockets. The power sockets allow for the connection of, for example, a concrete mixer, a welder, or a power generator. The four single-phase sockets will serve drills, grinders, work lamps, and small accessories - all made of high-quality, impact-resistant plastic.

The power supply is provided by an H07Rn-F 5×4 mm² cable approximately 90 cm long, terminated with a ProTOP 32A/5p IP44 plug. This is a flexible, oil-resistant cord (rn = rubber neutral) that performs well in outdoor conditions. The internal wiring is made of H07V-K wire with cross-sections from 2.5 to 6 mm², ensuring proper current transmission under load.

The 3F /11M /16 mm² busbar distributes the phases throughout the distribution board.

Electrical safety

Protection against electric shock is provided by a Type AC residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) with parameters 40 A / 30 mA / 4-pole. It detects earth leakage current and instantaneously disconnects the circuit - this is the primary protection against indirect contact.

The power sockets are protected by C32A (6 kA) miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) for the 32 A socket and C16A (6 kA) for the 16 A socket - both serve three phases. The single-phase sockets are protected by two C16A (6 kA) MCBs, each protecting two sockets.

The rated current of the entire device is 40 A, the rated voltage is 230/400 V, and the short-circuit capacity ICC is up to 10 kA. An RDF coefficient of 0.7 means an allowable continuous load of approximately 28 A.

The manufacturer has implemented a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD ISO 9001:2015, and the modular apparatus complies with IEC61008 (RCCB) and IEC60898 (miniature circuit breakers (MCBs)) standards. The entire unit holds CE and TSE certificates.
