Construction distribution board with full protection - a solution for professionals and contractors

The ECO-S/FI series electrical distribution board is a complete distribution device designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, in industrial plants, workshops, and during roadworks. The manufacturer has equipped it with four sockets - two single-phase Schuko with a voltage of 230 V / 16 A (IP54) and two power sockets 400 V with currents of 16 A and 32 A (IP44), all Bals brand with the Quick-Connect system. Thanks to this, the distribution board can handle both small hand tools and heavy three-phase devices - welding machines, concrete mixers, or compressors.

Enclosure and operating conditions

The enclosure made of technopolymer with dimensions 360 × 260 × 165 mm provides adequate space for modular apparatus (12 modules in one row). The front plate is RAL 7035 grey, and the rear plate is black. The door is made of polycarbonate - a material resistant to impact and weather conditions. An EPDM rubber gasket protects the interior from moisture and dust. Stainless steel screws guarantee the durability of connections even with frequent opening. The enclosure protection rating is IP44.

Electrical protections

Each socket has its own overcurrent protection - for the Schuko sockets, a single-pole C16 circuit breaker (6 kA) is installed, while the power sockets are protected by two three-phase circuit breakers: C16 (6 kA) for the 16 A socket and C32 (6 kA) for the 32 A socket. Protection against indirect contact is provided by a Type A residual current device, 40 A / 30 mA, four-pole, certified according to IEC/EN 61008-1 (TÜV, KEMA) standards. The overcurrent breakers comply with the IEC/EN 60898-1 standard and hold SEMKO and TÜV certificates.

Wiring and readiness for work

The distribution board is factory-wired with H07V-K cables with cross-sections of 2,5-6 mm² in colors compliant with installation standards (blue - neutral, yellow-green - earth, black - phase). A three-phase busbar distributes power between individual circuits. A 5×4 mm² connection cable is included in the set. A PG-21 cable gland is also included.

The device meets the requirements of EU directives confirmed by the CE marking and CEI-23-48/49 and IEC standards. Production takes place in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD - every distribution board undergoes an electrical inspection before shipment.
