Professional construction distribution board for site and workshop power supply

The FRED construction distribution board by Doktorvolt® is a complete solution for electrical power distribution in field and industrial conditions. Equipped with industrial sockets and domestic sockets of the German Schuko system, it allows for the simultaneous powering of both light power tools and high-power devices - all from a single unit.

The PVC housing has dimensions of 245 × 195 × 95 mm and a grey front in RAL 7035. The enclosure protection rating is IP44, which means resistance to solid objects above 1 mm and splashing water from any direction - sufficient for working on an open construction site or during roadworks.

Sockets and connection capabilities

On board, you will find:

• 2 Schuko Type F sockets (230 V / 16 A) - blue, German standard with a grounding pin, ingress protection class IP54 (dust-tight + protection against water jets). These are Mennekes Typ 11011 sockets.
• 1 red industrial socket (400 V / 32 A) - Mennekes Typ 3451, IP44, for powering heavy machinery and industrial equipment.
• 1 red industrial socket (400 V / 16 A) - Mennekes Typ 1385, IP44.

Thanks to this, the distribution board can handle both a drill or grinder (Schuko) as well as a welder or three-phase concrete mixer (industrial sockets).

Control and wiring

The circuits are switched via a SEZ cam switch marked symbolically 0-1 (on/off). This is a three-phase, four-pole device, rated for a load of 40 A / 690 V, equipped with a manual lever and an S40 JD nameplate. Built into the distribution board, it eliminates the need for an additional external switch installation before startup.

The wiring is made of H07V-K flexible cables - one of the most popular standards in industrial installations. The conductors have a cross-section of 2,5 mm² (phases) and 4 mm² (neutral and yellow-green protective), allowing for a connection cable up to 16 mm².

A PG-21 cable gland accommodating wires with a diameter of 13-18 mm is included in the set.

Standards and certificates

Production takes place in a management system certified by TÜV SÜD in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The distribution board meets the requirements of the CE directive and the IEC 61439 construction standard, which specifies the testing conditions for distribution boards regarding dielectric strength, short-circuit capacity (ICC ≤ 10 kA), and connection integrity. An RDF coefficient of 0,8 informs about the permissible continuous load when working with devices that do not operate at full power simultaneously at all times.

The rated current of the device itself is 16 A, and the operating voltage is the standard 230 V / 50 Hz AC.
