Portable power on the construction site
The FRED construction distribution board is a compact solution for temporary electrical power distribution in conditions typical for construction and roadworks. The PVC housing with dimensions 245 × 195 × 95 mm accommodates a full set of power and single-phase sockets - simply connect the supply cable through the PG-21 gland and the distribution board is ready for operation.
Socket equipment and functionality
The front plate in grey RAL 7035 contains two single-phase 230 V / 16 A sockets in the French system (Type E) - blue, which facilitates their identification on the construction site. These are complemented by two CEE power sockets: red 400 V / 32 A (Type 3451) and 400 V / 16 A (Type 1385). All sockets have an IP44 ingress protection rating.
The circuit isolation from the grid is handled by a cam switch 0-1 - a four-pole model, adapted for loads up to 40 A at voltages up to 690 V. The lever with a nameplate allows for quick switching on or off of the entire system without the need to reach into the distribution panel.
The housing provides an IP65 protection rating - dust and water splashes are not a problem even when working in open areas.
Internal wiring
The distribution board is factory-wired with H07V-K wires:
- yellow-green wire with a cross-section of 2,5 mm² - protective,
- blue wire 2,5 mm² - neutral,
- black-red phase wires 4 mm² / 2,5 mm².
The maximum connection wire cross-section is 16 mm², allowing for the connection of thick supply lines without the need for reduction.
Manufacturing quality and standards
The manufacturer - Doktorvolt - operates under a management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The FRED series distribution boards comply with the requirements of the CE directive and the IEC 61439 standard regarding low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies. The short-circuit current ICC is a maximum of 10 kA, and the current-carrying capacity reduction factor RDF is 0,8.
The entire unit is enclosed in a sealed surface-mounted housing with a front plate in a neutral grey RAL color - it fits most working environments and is unobtrusive in areas with pedestrian traffic.
