TD-S construction distribution board with cam switch
The TD-S construction distribution board from the Doktorvolt series is a complete distribution device ready for the immediate connection of power tools, machinery, and work lighting. The built-in TD-S cam switch allows for manual switching on and off of individual circuits - useful during work breaks or when power needs to be cut quickly without going to the main distribution board.
The enclosure houses three single-phase Schuko sockets (230V/16A) in the German standard and two Mennekes power sockets (400V/16A and 400V/32A) to power three-phase devices - welders, compressors, concrete mixers. The five-pin construction of the power sockets ensures full connection safety under higher loads.
Protections and working circuits
The distribution board is equipped with Type C miniature circuit breakers with a breaking capacity of 10 kA - this reserve allows it to operate safely even in installations with generators or power aggregators. The Schuko sockets are protected by two single-pole C16 breakers, the 16A power circuit has its own three-pole C16, and the 32A socket has a dedicated three-phase C32 breaker. The TD-S (40A) cam switch functions as the main isolator - enabling the isolation of the entire distribution board from the power supply network before service or transport.
IP44 enclosure and operating conditions
The ABS plastic enclosure provides an IP44 protection rating, which means resistance to dust (> 1 mm) and splashing water from any direction. This is a sufficient level for working on an open construction site under a canopy or in a damp workshop. However, it is worth remembering that during heavy rainfall or a strong stream of water, the distribution board should be covered - IP44 is not resistant to direct jets.
Factory wiring is performed using H07V-K wires: 2.5 mm² cores serve the single-phase circuits, 6 mm² wires are reserved for the power circuits, and the yellow-green core serves the protective function.

Each distribution board undergoes an electrical inspection with a measurement report, and the production process is conducted under the ISO 9001:2015 system certified by TÜV SÜD.
