Enclosure and construction

The HL-S construction distribution board features a solid technopolymer enclosure with dimensions 240.5 × 180 × 110 mm, providing mechanical resistance confirmed by the IK09 rating - the box can withstand an impact of up to 10 joules (equivalent to a strike from a hammer weighing approx. 1 kg from a height of 20 cm). The front plate is grey RAL 7035, while the rear plate is black - this combination facilitates quick recognition of the front of the box on a construction site.

The door is made of polycarbonate - a material resistant to shattering and UV radiation. A foam gasket around the door edges effectively protects the interior from dust and moisture. The mounting screws are made of stainless steel, so they do not corrode even during long-term exposure to atmospheric conditions.

The enclosure operates in a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C. The rated voltage of the enclosure is 750 V AC, and the glow-wire test at 650°C confirms the thermal resistance of the material.

The construction is surface-mounted - one row accommodating 4 modules of modular devices. The set includes a PG-16 cable gland for wire entry and an LZ-4 terminal block to facilitate installation expansion.

Electrical sockets

The distribution board offers four sockets with different parameters:

The Schuko system is characterized by side grounding contacts - the socket is more resistant to plug fallout than a standard French socket. The two 400V industrial sockets are red - according to standards, this signifies industrial installations.

Safety is ensured by two circuit breakers:

• C16A single-pole (1P) - protects the Schuko socket circuits,
• C16A three-pole (3P) - protects the industrial power circuits.

The C characteristic is suitable for inductive loads (electric motors, transformers). The 6 kA breaking capacity guarantees effective short-circuit interruption even in expanded installations.

The HL-S distribution board is suitable wherever temporary or semi-permanent electrical power is needed:

• Single-family house construction,
• Outdoor events and green areas.

The enclosure weighs just over a kilogram (1.7 kg), so moving it between workstations is not a problem. Thanks to the factory wiring, the installer saves time - it is only necessary to run the power cable through the PG-16 gland and connect it to the terminal block.

Standards and certificates

The manufacturer declares the enclosure's compliance with the following standards:

• EN 60670-1 - general requirements for enclosures for electrical installations,
• EN 60670-24 - additional requirements for enclosures intended for use outdoors.

The entire production takes place under a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD, confirmed by the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The product carries the CE marking.
