Temporary power on construction sites

The TD-S/FI SKH construction distribution board is a ready-to-use distribution device designed for professionals working in temporary power supply conditions. Manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 61439-3 standard - which means it meets the rigorous requirements for distribution boards intended for use by unskilled persons, making it ideal for construction sites where any employee can operate it.

The surface-mounted enclosure is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to impact and weather conditions. The front plate is gray RAL 7035, while the back is black. The door is made of polycarbonate, and the EPDM rubber seal ensures an IP44 protection level. The dimensions of the enclosure with installed sockets are 365 × 250 × 200 mm, and the entire unit weighs just enough to be stably placed on the ground - without the need for dowels or additional mountings.

Socket equipment and apparatus

The device offers three single-phase sockets 230 V / 16 A in the German Schuko system (Type F) - blue, with an IP54 protection class. Each is protected by a separate circuit breaker C16 / 1P / 10 kA. This ensures that a fault in one circuit does not cause a loss of power to the others.

For power equipment, two three-phase sockets are provided:

• 400 V / 16 A / IP44 - red Type1385 socket,
• 400 V / 32 A / IP44 - red Type3451 socket.

Both are protected by dedicated circuit breakers: C16 / 3P / 10 kA and C32 / 3P / 10 kA respectively. Larger loads - such as welders, concrete mixers, or compressors - can be connected directly to the 32 A socket.

Protection against indirect contact is provided by an RCD 40 A / 30 mA / 4P Type A, which will disconnect the circuit in the event of a ground fault. This is a required solution on construction sites where the risk of electric shock is increased.

Control and connection

The built-in cam switch marked S40 JD1104A6 serves as the main mains switch. It has a 3-phase, 4-pole design, a rating of 40 A / 690 V, and a "0-1" marking - providing a clear indication of the ON or OFF state. The lever with a nameplate facilitates operation even when wearing work gloves.

Included with the distribution board is a connection cable H07RN-F5×4 mm² approximately 1 meter long, terminated with an industrial plug (32 A / 5P / 400 V/IP44) - a robust connector resistant to weather conditions. Additionally, a PG-21 cable gland is included in the set.
