Purpose and capabilities of the distribution board

The DV-5244-D construction distribution board is a complete distribution device designed for temporary installations on construction sites, in warehouses, and workshops. A power supply of 230 V / 400 V at a frequency of 50 Hz and a rated current of 16 A allows for the connection of a wide range of power tools and portable machines.

The most important component of the equipment is the L-0-P (Left-Zero-Right) cam switch marked DV-0263. This three-position switch enables manual control of the rotation direction of the connected three-phase motor - to the left or to the right - without the need to reconnect cables. The zero position breaks the circuit, allowing for the safe stopping of the machine before any potential change in direction.

Socket equipment and wiring

The device is equipped with two single-phase Schuko sockets (1P+N+PE, 16 A, 230 V) and one three-phase CEE socket (3P+N+PE, 16 A, 400 V) - both manufactured by Doktorvolt. The Schuko socket is a standard used in Poland and most European countries; the CEE socket is ideal for connecting heavier industrial consumers requiring three phases.

The wiring is made with H07V-K conductors with a cross-section of 2,5 mm²:

• phase conductors - black color,
• neutral - blue,
• protective - yellow-green.

This color scheme, compliant with the standard, eliminates errors during connection and speeds up installation diagnostics.

Enclosure, operating conditions, and installation

The gray plastic enclosure provides an IP44 ingress protection rating, which means protection against solid bodies with a diameter greater than 1 mm and against splashing water from any direction. The device is also resistant to UV radiation - it does not degrade under long-term exposure to sunlight.

The operating temperature range is from -25 °C to +50 °C. The design is stationary - intended for mounting on a wall or another fixed surface using the included mounting plugs.

The distribution board is delivered fully wired and factory-assembled. The set includes a PG16 rubber gland and mounting plugs. Compact dimensions of 170 × 118 × 110 mm allow for installation even in tight temporary distribution boards or directly at the workstation. Simply connect the power cable to the terminals - the device is ready for operation immediately after installation.

The manufacturer declares compliance with the IEC 61439 standard regarding factory-assembled electrical switchgear and controlgear assemblies, as well as CE certificates.
