HL distribution board enclosure IP44 for surface mounting

The HL series distribution board enclosures by Doktorvolt are compact solutions designed for surface mounting in environments requiring basic protection against external factors. The DV-5323 model accommodates four modules of devices in one row - enough to house, for example, an RCD, two MCBs, and a surge protector. With dimensions of 240.5 × 180 × 110 mm, the enclosure does not take up much wall space, and with a weight of only 0.335 kg, installation is fast and does not require additional substrate reinforcement.

The two-tone styling - grey front (RAL 7035) and black back - allows for aesthetic matching with various interiors. The transparent polycarbonate door enables visual inspection of the installed equipment without the need to open it.

Construction and materials

The body is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to mechanical impact and elevated temperatures. This is confirmed by the IK09 impact resistance category and passing the glow-wire test at 650°C in accordance with EN 60670-1 and EN 60670-24 standards. A foam gasket around the door and base plate protects the interior from moisture and dust, ensuring an IP44 protection rating. Stainless steel mounting screws guarantee the durability of connections even in high humidity conditions.

The enclosure operates in a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C, making it suitable for both heated rooms and cooler technical spaces. The maximum rated voltage is 750 V AC, and the rated current is 16 A.

Interior arrangement possibilities

The interior is designed for standard modular equipment with a width of one module. After cutting the necessary openings, panel-mounted sockets can also be installed, which is useful for creating local power points near the distribution board. The manufacturer allows the installation of:

• MCBs (characteristics B, C, or D),
• RCDs of type A or AC,
• indicator lights,
• surge protectors of class II or III,
• relays and miniature controllers.

The base plate has a recessed shape to facilitate cable routing and stable mounting of devices on the DIN rail.

Standards and operating conditions

The enclosure meets the requirements of European standards:

• EN 60670-1 - general requirements for enclosures for electrical apparatus,
• EN 60670-24 - requirements for enclosures for electrical apparatus.

These certificates confirm the product's compliance with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and allow its use in both building and industrial installations within the European Union. For the installer, this means certainty that the enclosure will pass technical inspection without objections.
