The CV-CAMP RCBO distribution post is a professional electrical switchboard designed for outdoor installation - in campsites, tent sites, camping areas, and marinas. The device enables safe and orderly distribution of electrical energy to leisure sites, ensuring tourists have constant access to power during their stay.

The enclosure, made of solid composite resistant to weather conditions, allows the post to be buried directly in the ground - thanks to the solid structural base, the installation is stable and durable. The IP44 ingress protection rating guarantees protection against dust and water splashes, which is crucial for year-round outdoor operation.

Protections and user safety

Each of the four camping sockets (3P 230V, 16A) is individually protected by a residual current breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) - model B16A, 30mA, 10kA - equipped with a reset button. This solution eliminates the need for separate circuit breakers and residual current devices, simplifying installation and reducing potential servicing time.

The post is equipped with an RV63N isolator switch (32A, 3+N, 4P) serving as the main separation switch - it allows for complete power disconnection, e.g., during maintenance or a fault. The key-lockable handle restricts unauthorized persons and children from accessing live components.

Type 1366 camping sockets are characterized by high plug-in connection durability, even with frequent use by different facility guests.

Operating parameters

The device operates at a rated voltage of 230/400V AC 50Hz with a rated current of 32A. The maximum short-circuit current Icc is ≤10kA, and the single-phase busbar is 12-module, adapted for 10mm² conductors. A continuous load factor of 0.7 means an allowable continuous load at 70% of the rated current - an important parameter when designing campsite installations with many simultaneously operating loads. The dimensions of the post without sockets are approx. 170 × 27 × 25 cm.

Standards and certificates

The switchboard has been designed in accordance with the DIN VDE 0100-708 standard, which specifies requirements for electrical installations in camping, caravanning, and marina areas. This standard replaces the previous DIN VDE 0100-721 regarding recreational vehicles.

The product holds certificates confirming compliance with European safety requirements: CE, IEC 61439, and the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certificate. Each switchboard undergoes individual measurement tests before leaving the factory - this is evidenced by the certificate applied to the device.
