Mobile charging station with Type 2 cable included

The set consisting of a portable Doktorvolt wallbox and a charging cable with a length of 5 meters is a complete solution for charging electric vehicles with alternating current (AC). The device supports power from 3.7 to 11 kW, allowing for efficient energy replenishment in cars equipped with a Type 2 socket - both those with single-phase and three-phase charging systems.

Construction and set elements

The wallbox is housed in a UV-resistant plastic enclosure (grey front / black back color), adapted for outdoor use. Inside, there is a viewing window for 12 modules and an ergonomic handle to facilitate moving the device between locations. It is also equipped with a Type 2 socket without a lock and a CEE 16A plug with a cable approximately 1 meter long, enabling connection to a three-phase network.

The included charging cable complies with the IEC 62893-3 and EN 50620 standards. Its contacts are made of silver-plated copper alloy in rubber insulation - such a combination ensures low contact resistance and connection durability even with frequent use. The cable withstands over 10,000 mating and unmating cycles, tolerates a compression load of up to 2 tons, and a fall from a height of 1 meter. The maximum pulling force does not exceed 100 N.

Intelligent control and safety

Communication between the station and the vehicle is handled by an intelligent charging controller supporting Mode-3 mode. It automatically interrupts the charging process if an error state is detected. The user can manually control the process using the START/STOP button with LED diode signaling - pulsing pulses inform about the current operating state of the device.

Protections built into the wallbox include:

• C16A circuit breaker - protects against overload,
• Type A RCD + RCM module - detects current leakage and reacts to errors on the vehicle side.

The entire unit operates in temperatures from -20 °C to +50 °C, and the enclosure provides an IP44 protection rating. The cable, however, has a higher degree of sealing - IP54.

Operating parameters and standards

The three-phase pin configuration (L1, L2, L3, N, PE) enables full power utilization with a nominal mains supply of 400 V. A charging power level of 11 kW is achieved at a current load of 16 A - its actual value depends on the voltage present in the network under load.

The device is certified by TÜV SÜD, compliant with CE, IEC 61439, EN 62196-2 standards, and the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. The cable additionally meets the requirements of the RoHS directive and holds EAC certificates and compliance with IEC 62196.1/.2:2014.
