Complete protection for photovoltaic installations

The Doktorvolt photovoltaic distribution board is a ready-made solution for protecting the AC side of PV installations. In one surface-mounted enclosure, you will find all the necessary protective elements - a residual current device, a miniature circuit breaker, and T1+T2 class surge protection devices. Production takes place under a management system certified by TÜV SÜD according to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which translates to repeatable quality and full technical documentation.

The enclosure with an IP65 protection rating guarantees dust-tightness and resistance to water jets. It is made of technopolymer - a material resistant to mechanical impacts and atmospheric conditions. The polycarbonate door ensures dimensional stability under varying temperatures. The EPDM rubber gasket maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range (typically from -40°C to +120°C), does not crack, and does not harden under the influence of UV radiation or ozone. Stainless steel screws eliminate the problem of corrosion in outdoor conditions.

The enclosure dimensions are 215 × 210 × 100 mm (with PG cable glands, the width increases to 245 mm). You have 8 modules available in one row - sufficient for expansion or additional control elements. The 2× PG-21 and 1× PG-11 cable glands allow for the introduction of solar cables and potential wiring expansion.

Electrical protections

Protection against indirect contact is provided by a Type A residual current device with parameters 25A / 300mA / 2P. Compliance with the STN EN 61008-1 standard confirms fulfillment of the requirements for RCD devices used in circuits where pulsating currents may occur.

The Type S B20A miniature circuit breaker (B characteristic, time-delay contacts) protects wires against overload and short circuits. A breaking capacity of 10 kA ensures safe interruption even of strong short-circuit currents.

Both breakers have VDE certificates and EFS/EFC/CD homologations - quality certificates issued by European research institutes.

Surge protection

Two T1+T2 class surge protection device modules provide two-stage protection:

  • T1 (class I) - impulse current In = 20 kA, energy absorption capacity for direct lightning strikes,
  • T2 (class II) - maximum current Imax = 50 kA, protection against switching and indirect atmospheric surges.

The voltage protection level Up is ≤1,8 kV. The maximum operating voltage Uc = 275V AC.

Wiring and certificates

Internal connections are made using high-class H07V-K wires - single-core wires with PVC insulation resistant to temperatures up to +70°C: black control wire H07V-K 6 mm², blue control wire H07V-K 6 mm², and yellow-green wire H07V-K 16 mm² serving as the protective connection.

The manufacturer declares compliance with the RoHS directive (2011/65/EU), the CEI 23-48 standard, and the CE certificate for the entire product. The enclosure meets the requirements of the IEC 61439 standard regarding modular assembly assemblies.
