Complete protection system for photovoltaic installations

The Doktorvolt solar distribution board is a factory-wired "plug and play" solution. All elements are already interconnected with H07V-K wires - black and blue 4 mm² control strands for power and yellow-green 16 mm² as the PE protective conductor.

The heart of the set consists of two SIEMENS switches. The RCCB 25A/4P/300mA Type A residual current circuit breaker detects both sinusoidal and pulsating DC leakage currents - Type A also covers DC components occurring on the AC side of photovoltaic inverters. It is accompanied by a B16A/3P/6kA miniature circuit breaker.

Surge protection on the AC side is provided by a dedicated Doktorvolt class T2 surge protective device in the 4P/20-40 kA version. The maximum operating voltage is 275 V AC, and the protection level (Up) is ≤1,8 kV. The test current In is 20 kA, and the maximum current Imax is 40 kA.

IP65 industrial enclosure for outdoor conditions

The distribution board fits on a single row of modules (12 modules wide), which, with dimensions of 290 × 260 × 140 mm, allows for surface mounting even in tight recesses near electrical risers. After adding cable glands, the depth increases to 295 mm.

The enclosure is made of technopolymer, and the door is made of polycarbonate - a transparent material that allows for visual inspection of the insert status without opening the box. The EPDM rubber seal maintains flexibility across a wide temperature range; the stainless steel screws do not corrode even with frequent opening.

The IP65 protection rating means full dust tightness and protection against water jets from any direction - the distribution board is suitable for building facades and other locations exposed to weather conditions.
