Universal power supply for construction sites and workshops

The DV-5220-D distribution board is a fully wired distribution device designed for temporary electrical installations - on construction sites, in production halls, for assembly services, and in industry. The distribution board is equipped with a DV-0317 cam switch marked with the symbol 0-1, which allows for manual switching on and off of both single-phase (230 V) and three-phase (400 V) circuits. This makes the distribution board ideal for connecting power tools, welding generators, compressors, and electric motors - without the need for additional control apparatus.

The housing made of plastic in gray ensures mechanical resistance with a relatively low mass. The dimensions 170 × 118 × 110 mm allow for convenient wall mounting in areas with limited space. The manufacturer has ensured resistance to weather conditions - the device operates in a temperature range from -25 °C to +50 °C and is resistant to UV radiation, which is important during multi-month outdoor exposure.

Socket equipment and wiring

Three sockets are installed in the distribution board:

• 2 × single-phase Schuko socket (1P + N + PE) - 16 A / 230 V, for commonly used power tools and household appliances;
• 1 × three-phase CEE power socket (3P + N + PE) - 16 A / 400 V compliant with the VDE standard, for industrial machines.

The wiring is made with H07V-K 2,5 mm² wires manufactured by Bitner - protective conductor in yellow-green, neutral in blue, and phase in black. The 2,5 mm² cross-section at a 16 A load ensures safe operation without excessive heating of the wires.

IP44 protection and operating conditions

The IP44 protection rating means the housing is sealed against solid bodies above 1 mm and against water splashes from any direction. In practice, this allows the distribution board to be used under light rain, in dusty rooms, and on open construction sites without additional shielding. The design is stationary, intended for permanent mounting on a wall or a temporary structure.

Certificates and scope of delivery

The product complies with the IEC 61439 standard, confirming the requirements for factory-assembled switchgear. The manufacturer has a certified TÜV SÜD ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, and each device undergoes individual tests before shipping. The set includes mounting anchors/screws and a PG16 rubber gland for introducing power cables - installation only requires mounting on a surface and connecting the power line.
