Mobile power on construction sites and in the field

The mDV hanging distribution box is a compact distribution device designed for temporary power supply in locations where no permanent electrical installation is available. Thanks to the 1.5-meter H07RN-F power cable terminated with a Mennekes ProTOP plug, the distribution box is ready to connect immediately after unpacking - just find a power source and you can start working.

The plastic housing with dimensions 112×112×80 mm houses all components in one compact unit. The gray color and small size ensure that the device does not stand out on a construction site or at a workstation.

Socket configuration

The distribution box offers three output sockets:

• Three-phase industrial socket - one Quick-Connect 400V/16A (5-pin) socket in red RAL 3000, protected by an IP44 housing. It is used to connect industrial equipment requiring three-phase power.
• Two single-phase Schuko sockets - type F in the German system, voltage 230V/16A each. Both have a higher IP54 ingress protection rating (dust-tight + protection against water jets), making them more resistant to outdoor conditions than the industrial socket.

The variation in IP44/IP54 ratings is intentional - single-phase sockets are more exposed to moisture and dust during daily operation, which is why the manufacturer has applied a higher sealing level for them.

Construction and mobility

The housing also accommodates a PG16 cable gland, allowing for the introduction of an additional cable to expand distribution. A key element of mobility is the 1.5 m long chain - it allows the distribution box to be hung on a hook, structural pipe, or tree branch without the need to place it on the ground. This is a practical solution particularly appreciated during roadworks and on large construction sites.

The manufacturer declares a rated current of 16A at an operating voltage of 400V AC / 50Hz. An RDF reduction factor of 0.8 indicates the load capacity during continuous operation - the device can operate under full load for a specified time without overheating.

The entire product is manufactured under a quality management system certified by TÜV SÜD, confirming the repeatability of the manufacturing process and quality control at every stage.
