Wall-mounted distribution board mDV 2x230V Schuko, operation with Doktorvolt® 2749 pneumatic coupling DV-2749-D
Mobile construction distribution box with Schuko sockets and pneumatic installation
The mDV Doktorvolt® hanging distribution box is a compact distribution device designed for construction sites, workshops, and work zones where both electrical power and compressed air are required simultaneously. A complete installation is housed in a single enclosure, featuring two electrical sockets and a complete pneumatic manifold with quick couplings - all ready to work without additional wiring or hoses.
The enclosure is made of high-quality plastic in gray with dimensions 112×112×80 mm. It is equipped with a PG 13.5 cable gland with an IP68 ingress protection rating, which protects the cable from mechanical damage and moisture at the point of entry into the enclosure. The entire unit is suspended on a 1.5 m long chain, allowing the distribution box to be conveniently mounted on a hook, structural beam, or support arm - practically anywhere in the work area.
Electrical sockets and power parameters
The device is equipped with two Schuko type sockets (German system, Type F) with a rated voltage of 230 V AC and a rated current of 16 A. Each socket can handle a load of up to 3500 W, allowing for the connection of typical construction tools - drills, grinders, work lighting, or heating devices. The sockets are marked as Type 7178 and comply with the German Type F standard with a grounding pin. They have an IP54 ingress protection rating, which means they are dust-tight and protected against water splashes from any angle - essential on open construction sites with changing weather conditions.
Pneumatic manifold and compressed air installation
The pneumatic part consists of a brass cross manifold and complete wiring with quick couplings. The manifold inlet has a G 3/8" thread, and the outlets are two quick couplings with a 3/8" external thread. At the other end of the line, a quick coupling plug with a G 1/8" external thread (DN 5,5) is installed, which connects to the compressed air source - a compressor or a pneumatic installation.
The manifold is adapted for use with pneumatic hoses with an internal diameter of 8 mm. The working pressure ranges from 0 to 35 bar, and the operating temperature range for both the medium and the environment is between −20°C and +100°C. The manifold body is made of nickel-plated brass - a material resistant to corrosion and mechanical wear typical for construction conditions.
Applications and operating conditions
This distribution box is ideal anywhere where electric power tools and pneumatic tools work simultaneously - e.g., impact wrenches, staplers, or spray guns. Typical places of use include:
- construction sites and roadwork areas,
- industrial halls and manufacturing plants,
- automotive workshops and garages,
- zones near individual construction projects,
- green areas and outdoor events requiring temporary power.
Production takes place under a management system certified by TÜV SÜD, which guarantees repeatable manufacturing quality and transparent information flow at every stage of production. The entire unit is delivered ready to connect - simply plug the power cable into the energy source and the pneumatic hose into the compressor.
