Wall-mounted distribution board mDV 3x230V Schuko Doktorvolt® 2671 DV-2671-D
Mobile construction distribution box with Schuko socket system
The Doktorvolt portable electrical distribution box is a compact distribution device designed for temporary power supply on construction sites, in workshops, and in the field. Equipped with three German Schuko (Type F) sockets with a voltage of 230 V and a rated current of 16 A, it allows for the simultaneous connection of three loads - power tools, work lighting, or measuring equipment. The maximum load capacity is 3500 W, which is more than sufficient to power typical construction and workshop devices.
The plastic housing has dimensions of 112 × 112 × 80 mm - it fits in the hand and can be easily carried between workstations. The gray color of the housing is neutral and does not stand out against typical work equipment.
Power supply, wiring, and readiness for work
The distribution box is delivered ready to work - it has a factory-installed OnPd H07RN-F 3×2,5 mm² cable with a length of 1,5 m. This type of cable is characterized by increased mechanical resistance and performs well in outdoor conditions and on construction sites, where wiring is exposed to abrasion and mechanical damage. Included in the set is a Bals Typ 7373 mains plug - a solid plug socket from a German manufacturer that ensures a secure connection to the power grid.
The PG 13,5 cable gland protects the point where the cable enters the housing against accidental pulling and limits the risk of insulation damage at the edge of the opening.
The device operates at a voltage of 230 V AC and a frequency of 50 Hz - standard parameters of the power grid in Poland and most European countries.
The Schuko socket system is widely used in Germany and Central European countries - the Type F socket is recognized by two symmetrical grounding pins on the sides. It is compatible with most European plugs without a grounding pin (so-called Europlug), making it a universal choice throughout the European Union.
Resistance to weather conditions
The Schuko sockets have an IP54 protection rating, which means dust-tightness and protection against water jets falling from any angle. The distribution box housing itself has an IP44 rating - protecting against objects >1 mm and small water splashes. This distinction is important when choosing the location of the device: the socket itself can be used safely even during light rain, but the distribution box itself should be mounted in sheltered places or under a roof.
The portable distribution box is effective everywhere temporary power is needed:
- On construction sites and during roadworks - connecting hand power tools (drills, grinders, concrete mixers) and work lighting.
- In industrial plants - as a temporary power socket during production line renovations or maintenance.
- In car workshops and garages - for connecting devices requiring a power socket.
- During self-build home construction - when the stationary installation is not yet ready.
- In green areas and at outdoor events - powering sound equipment, festival lighting, or catering stations.
Construction, suspension, and build quality
A 1,5 m long chain is attached to the housing, which allows the distribution box to be hung on a hook, structural pipe, branch, or temporary bracket - literally anywhere at a height convenient for operation. This means the distribution box does not have to lie on the ground or hang at a height inaccessible to workers.
The manufacturer has implemented a management system in the distribution box production process certified by TÜV SÜD - an independent inspection body ensuring the repeatability of quality and the safety of electrical products. This means a controlled flow of information at every stage of production and consistent quality standards for production batches. </b
