The Eaton xEnergy Basic distribution board is a complete solution for building electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. Designed as an EMC version, it ensures full electromagnetic compatibility and high operational reliability in environments with electromagnetic interference mitigation requirements.

Construction and enclosure materials

The steel enclosure guarantees exceptional mechanical durability and resistance to damage. The grey RAL 7035 finish provides a professional appearance, fitting perfectly into the aesthetics of modern interiors. The distribution board has an IP30 protection rating, which means effective protection against finger access and against access to hazardous parts with a wire.

External dimensions of 635 × 1065 × 250 mm and installation dimensions of 606 × 1027 × 240 mm allow for flexible installation planning. An internal depth of 242 mm provides sufficient space for cable routing and free mounting of installation devices.

Technical parameters and modular system

The 5-row configuration allows for the construction of extensive electrical installations. The width, expressed in the number of modules, is exactly 24 modules, which is the standard width for distribution boards of this class.

Each row is equipped with a standard DIN rail, enabling the mounting of various installation devices such as circuit breakers, residual current devices, disconnectors, or relays.

The distribution board meets the requirements of the EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) directive, making it an ideal solution for installations requiring limited electromagnetic interference emissions and immunity to external electromagnetic fields.

Mechanical strength confirmed by the IK07 class guarantees resistance to impacts with energy up to 2 joules. The corrosion resistance and thermal stability of the enclosure meet the requirements of relevant product standards. Protection against electric shock is achieved through a grounding resistance of less than 0.1 Ω.

Electrical parameters include a rated insulation voltage of Ui = 440 V AC and an impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV. Heat dissipation at an ambient temperature of 35°C and a temperature difference ΔT:20°C is 61 W, while at ΔT:35°C it reaches a value of 122 W.

Installation is performed as flush mounted, ensuring an aesthetic appearance and optimal use of wall space. The closed "single door" type cover protects the contents from accidental access and environmental influences.

The design is intended primarily for indoor applications where UV radiation resistance is not required. The total mass of the device is approximately 27 kg, which indicates a solid steel construction while maintaining a rational mass to facilitate transport and installation.
