The threaded pin and connecting screw are made of black oxidized steel, which provides corrosion resistance. The locking mechanism is based on a multi-spline, which guarantees a secure connection with the arm. The return spring, also made of black oxidized steel, ensures automatic engagement of the teeth after releasing the lever.
