• Type N (greaseable): Bearing seat made of brass (CuZn40AI1), and the inner ring made of hardened steel (100Cr6) – an ideal solution where regular lubrication is possible and desirable.
• Type W (self-lubricating): Galvanized steel with a PTFE insert – an excellent choice for applications where access to the lubrication point is difficult or impossible. PTFE reduces friction and ensures smooth operation without the need for additional lubrication.

GN 648.1 ball joints are similar to DIN ISO 12240-4 series K (formerly DIN 648 K), ensuring compatibility with existing systems and ease of replacement.
