Construction and materials – durability for years

GN 822.6 locating pins are characterized by a careful selection of materials, which translates into their high resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The threaded body is made of galvanized steel with blue passivation, providing additional protection against environmental influences. The pin itself is made of stainless steel AISI 303, guaranteeing strength and wear resistance. The knob made of high-impact technopolymer based on polyamide (PA) is resistant to solvents, oils, greases and other chemicals – making it reliable in demanding working conditions. The spring made of stainless steel AISI 301 ensures stable operation of the locking mechanism.

Designs and applications – tailored to your needs

Two versions of GN 822.6 locating pins are available:

• Type B: without locking – ideal for applications where no additional protection against accidental shifting of the fastened element is required.
• Type C: with locking in the retracted position – after pulling out the knob and rotating it 30°, the pin is locked, preventing accidental unlocking thanks to special notches. This solution is particularly useful in applications requiring a high level of safety and reliability.

The recommended hole cooperating with the pin should be made with a tolerance of +0.05/+0.1 mm for optimal fit and connection stability. These pins are an excellent cost-effective alternative to larger GN 607/GN 607.1 models while maintaining high quality and functionality. Installation is simple: the pin is screwed in by holding the knob, and then the hexagonal body can be tightened with a flat wrench.
