Construction and materials

• Type AP: polished aluminum cast (AL) – aesthetic appearance and easy cleaning.
• Type ES: sandblasted matte AISI 303 stainless steel cast – high corrosion resistance and ideal for hygienic applications.
• Type A4P: polished AISI 316 stainless steel cast – highest corrosion resistance, dedicated to aggressive environments.

The mounting screw is made of AISI 303 or AISI 316 stainless steel, guaranteeing the durability and reliability of the connection. The thread is secured with a cross pin, preventing the knob from accidentally unscrewing during operation.

Applications and compliance with standards

The GN 6335.5 star knobs meet the requirements of DIN 6335 standard (type L), but are characterized by an improved grip geometry that makes cleaning easier and minimizes dirt accumulation. This makes them particularly recommended for:
