Mounting pins GN 114.2 are components with axial locking (fins) designed for quick fixing or joining of workpieces. They are an economical alternative to pins with ball locking, while still allowing for the transfer of significant axial loads. The rectangular shape of the fins made of stainless steel increases the contact surface of the lock, which is important for larger hole tolerances.

Materials and construction

Mounting pins GN 114.2 are characterized by a solid construction and high quality of workmanship. They are made of steel, with a choice of surfaces:

• zinc-plated steel with blue passivation – provides corrosion resistance and an aesthetic appearance,
• stainless steel AISI 304 – guarantees high corrosion resistance in harsh environmental conditions,
• stainless steel AISI 301 – offers good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.

The locking fins are made of stainless steel AISI 304 sheet metal, and the knob is made of a polyamide-based technopolymer (PA) available in gray-black or red. The spring is made of stainless steel AISI 301, ensuring its long-term reliability. Polyamide knobs are temperature resistant up to 80°C.
