Locking pin mini GN 822.6 – precision and compactness in one

Locking pin GN 822.6 is an element used for precise and quick positioning of components in machines, devices and structures. It is characterized by its small size and solid construction, making it an ideal solution where space is limited. It is a cost-effective alternative to larger pins GN 607 and GN 607.1, offering similar functionality in a more compact version.

Materials and workmanship – durability and resistance

The pin's construction combines the strength of steel with resistance to external factors. The threaded body is made of galvanized steel with blue passivation, providing corrosion protection. The pin itself is made of stainless steel AISI 303, guaranteeing high resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The knob made of high-impact polyamide-based technopolymer (PA) is resistant to solvents, oils, lubricants and other chemicals. The matte finish of the knob ensures a secure grip and aesthetic appearance. The spring made of stainless steel AISI 301 ensures reliable operation of the locking mechanism (version C).

Available variants and applications

Two versions are available:

• Type B: without locking – standard locking pin for simple applications.
• Type C: with locking in the retracted position – allows locking the pin after pulling out the knob and rotating it 30 degrees. Special notches prevent accidental unlocking, increasing safety.

GN 822.6 pins are used in many industries, including:

Pin mounting involves screwing it into a cooperating hole (tolerance +0.05/+0.1) while holding the knob. After pulling out the knob, a hexagonal body is revealed allowing tightening with a flat wrench. For easier mounting, distance sleeves GN 609.5 and flat lock nuts GN 909 (available separately) can be used.
