Mini locating pins GN 822.6 are elements used for precise and quick positioning and securing of structural components. They are characterized by their small size, making them an ideal solution in applications where space is limited. Based on the proven GN 822 series, they are an economical alternative to larger pins GN 607 and GN 607.1.

Construction and application

GN 822.6 pins consist of a threaded body made of galvanized steel with blue passivation, a pin made of stainless steel AISI 303, and a knob made of durable polyamide-based technopolymer (PA) in black, with a matte finish. These materials guarantee resistance to solvents, oils, lubricants and other chemicals, allowing their use in various industrial environments.

Two versions are available:

• Type B: without locking – a standard solution for simple mounting applications.
• Type C: with locking in the retracted position – after pulling out the knob and rotating it by 30°, the pin is locked, preventing accidental movement. Special notches further protect against unintentional unlocking.

The pin is mounted by screwing it into a matching hole (tolerance +0.05/+0.1), holding it by the knob. After pulling out the knob, a hexagonal body is revealed, allowing tightening with a flat wrench.
