Functionality and application

Available in two variants – without locking (Type B) and with locking in the retracted position (Type C) – the GN 822.6 pin offers flexibility to adapt to specific application needs. Version C has a locking mechanism activated by pulling out the knob and rotating it 30 degrees. Special notches prevent accidental unlocking, increasing safety. The pin is easy to install: it is screwed in while holding the knob, and then the hexagonal body is exposed allowing tightening with a flat wrench. The suggested hole cooperating with the pin should be made with a tolerance of +0.05/+0.1 for optimal fit and stability. These pins are an excellent cost alternative to larger models GN 607/GN 607.1 with similar dimensions. They are used in tooling, medical devices, machines and many other applications requiring precise fastening of components.
