This hardness represents a compromise between the ability to dampen vibrations and the load-bearing capacity of the element. Choosing the right rubber hardness is crucial for optimal isolator performance – the higher the vibration frequency, the harder the rubber should be. Other rubber hardnesses (40, 70±5 according to Shore A) are also available for specific applications and larger orders.
