Lighting pole for in-ground installation – solid construction and corrosion protection

This steel lighting pole, from the CN series, is designed for ground mounting. It features a conical shape and a height of 6 meters, ensuring stability and optimal light distribution. The construction made of a trunk with a wall thickness of 4 mm guarantees resistance to wind and mechanical loads. The diameter of the upper end of the pole is 76 mm, allowing for the installation of various lighting fixtures.

The pole has been protected by galvanizing, which provides long-lasting protection against corrosion and weathering. This is crucial for outdoor installations exposed to moisture and changing weather conditions. Thanks to this, the pole retains its aesthetic and functional properties for a long time.

Installation and application

The pole is designed to be buried to a depth of 1 meter, ensuring the stability of the structure. It is ideal for lighting roads, parking lots, green areas, sidewalks, and other public and private spaces. The construction allows easy access to the electrical installation thanks to the cable and inspection chamber with a door. The internal inspection chamber facilitates maintenance and possible repairs.

It is worth paying attention to the load table contained in the technical documentation (available from the manufacturer), which allows you to choose the appropriate pole for the wind zone and the expected load of the lighting fixture. For the CN 6/4/76/W model, the permissible weight of the luminaire is 83 kg (for wind zone II).

Construction features and compliance with standards

The pole is made of steel S235 or S355 according to PN-EN 10025. Dimensions and tolerances comply with PN-EN 40-2. Hot-dip galvanizing was carried out in accordance with PN-EN ISO 1461, which guarantees high quality anti-corrosion protection. The design has been designed and verified in accordance with PN-EN 40-3-1 and PN-EN 40-3-3. It has eight M10 holes at the top of the pole for mounting the luminaire and an M8 hole for grounding connection.
