The N2XH-O 4x50 RM (Dca) power cable is a solution for demanding installations where safety and reliability are critical. This copper cable is designed for power transmission in distribution networks and industrial installations. It features high resistance to mechanical damage and external factors, ensuring long-term, fault-free operation.

Construction and applications

The N2XH-O cable has Class 2 stranded conductors insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE VPE). Four cores with a cross-section of 50 mm² provide high current-carrying capacity. The cores are twisted and color-coded for easy identification. The outer sheath, made of polyolefin, offers additional protection against moisture, chemicals, and UV radiation. This cable is suitable for use in:

• Fixed indoor and outdoor installations,
• Industrial power installations,
• Electrical distribution boards,
• Power supply systems for machinery and equipment.

Safety and compliance with standards

The key feature of the N2XH-O cable is its halogen-free construction. This means that in the event of a fire, it does not emit toxic gases, significantly enhancing user safety and facilitating evacuation. The cable complies with EN 13501-6 and has a fire reaction class of Dca – s2, d0, a1. These parameters guarantee limited flammability, low smoke emission, and no dripping of burning particles during a fire. Additionally, the cable is designed for operation at temperatures up to 90°C. The minimum bending radius is 367.2 mm for fixed installations, facilitating mounting even in challenging conditions.
