Installation cable CYKY-J – reliability and safety in every installation
CYKY-J 12x2.5 cable is a solid choice for demanding electrical installations. Made of copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², surrounded by insulation and a PVC jacket, it ensures safe and efficient power transmission. This cable is designed for use indoors and outdoors, both in fixed and movable installations. Its construction allows for flexible routing and easy installation.
The CYKY-J cable is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric factors. It has a fire reaction class of Eca, which provides additional safety in the event of a fire. Twisted conductors facilitate processing and connection to devices. Colored conductors (multicolored) and numbering make it easier to identify individual wires during installation, which is especially important with a larger number of conductors.
Construction and application
The construction of the CYKY-J cable is based on 12 single-wire copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm². Each conductor is insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and then all are twisted together and surrounded by an external PVC jacket. This construction ensures durability, flexibility and resistance to external conditions. This cable is used in:
- electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings,
- lighting installations,
- powering electrical devices,
- temporary installations (e.g. on construction sites),
- extending existing electrical circuits.
Thanks to the rated voltage of 750V/450V, this cable is perfect for a variety of electrical applications. The minimum bending radius of 99 mm ensures comfortable work during installation even in tight spaces. The approximate outer diameter of 16.5 mm makes it easier to select appropriate mounting accessories. The lack of a screen and protective barrier does not limit its use in standard electrical installations.
