Installation cable CYKY-J – reliability and safety in every installation

CYKY-J 19x1.5 cable is a versatile installation cable designed for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. It is characterized by a solid construction and high quality workmanship, which guarantees long-lasting and safe operation. It is ideal for both home and industrial installations where reliability and resistance to external factors are required.

Construction and application

The CYKY-J cable consists of 19 copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², each insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted, which increases the cable's flexibility and facilitates its installation. The whole is surrounded by an external PVC coating, providing protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions. This cable is intended for permanent laying indoors, outdoors (provided protection against UV radiation) and in the ground. It is suitable for installations with a rated voltage of up to 750V (450V/750V), both in dry and humid rooms.

Technical parameters in practice

The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 16.4 mm, which should be taken into account when choosing appropriate cable glands and connectors. The minimum bending radius for permanent installations is 98.4 mm – it is worth remembering this when laying the cable to avoid damage. The cable does not have a screen or protective barrier, therefore it is not intended for applications requiring protection against electromagnetic interference. The lack of armor also means a lower cable weight – about 0.482 kg/m – which facilitates its transport and installation.
