Construction and Applications

The CYKY-O cable consists of seven stranded copper conductors, each with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted, enhancing cable flexibility and simplifying installation. The entire assembly is covered with an outer PVC sheath, providing additional protection against moisture, UV radiation, and mechanical damage. Thanks to this, the cable performs excellently in a wide range of applications—from lighting and socket circuits in residential buildings to powering industrial equipment.

The CYKY-O cable features a rated voltage of 750V/450V and a maximum conductor operating temperature of 70°C. The diameter of each individual conductor is 12.7 mm, and the approximate outer diameter of the entire cable is also 12.7 mm. The minimum bending radius during fixed installation is 76.2 mm. Conductors are color-coded for easy identification during installation. Important: the cable has no screen or protective barrier and does not include an earth conductor—this must be considered during electrical system design. Conductor class is Class 1 (solid core). This cable is not suitable for marine applications or environments with high oil content.
