YAKY Power Cable – Reliability and Safety in Your Installation
YAKY 0.6/1 kV 1x35 RMC is a single-core power cable designed for fixed installations to transmit electrical energy. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it ensures safe and efficient operation over a long period. This cable is particularly recommended for applications requiring resistance to environmental conditions and mechanical damage.
Construction and Application
The YAKY cable features a single aluminum conductor with a cross-section of 35 mm². The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides excellent protection against moisture and mechanical damage. The absence of armor makes the cable flexible and easy to install. It is suitable for use in electrical power distribution systems, both indoors and outdoors—provided it is protected from UV radiation. Ideal for industrial, commercial installations, and electrical distribution networks.
Key Features and Benefits
- 35 mm² Aluminum Conductor: Enables transmission of high currents, essential for demanding applications.
- PVC Insulation: Ensures reliable electrical insulation and protection against moisture, enhancing operational safety.
- No Armor: Simplifies installation and bending, especially in confined spaces.
- Rated Voltage 1 kV: Allows use across a wide range of electrical installations.
- Fire Reaction Class Eca: Provides basic fire safety performance in accordance with EN 13501-6.
- Flexibility: Thanks to the multi-wire conductor construction (Class 2), the cable is easy to route and connect.
- Mechanical Resistance: The outer PVC sheath protects the cable against damage during transport and operation.
Additionally, the cable’s outer diameter is approximately 12.2 mm, and the minimum bending radius for fixed installations is 183 mm—consider these parameters when designing the cable route. Also note the maximum allowable conductor operating temperature of 70°C and the installation ambient temperature range of -5°C to +5°C.
