Signal cable – reliability and flexibility in every circuit
The YKSY 14x1 yellow/white 0.6/1 kV signal cable is a versatile solution for transmitting control and informational signals in electrical installations. Its construction with 14 conductors, each 1 mm² in cross-section, ensures high flexibility and ease of routing, appreciated by both installers and end users. This cable is widely used in alarm systems, building automation, control systems, and industrial applications.
The use of copper conductors guarantees excellent conductivity and signal stability, while the PVC insulation provides resistance to moisture and mechanical damage. The cable is designed for operation in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +70°C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications (with appropriate protection). With a rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV, this cable performs reliably across a wide range of power applications.
Construction and specifications for professionals
The YKSY 14x1 cable features a round cross-section with a diameter of approximately 15.4 mm. The conductors are twisted and numbered for easy identification during installation. Made of copper, they comply with Class 1 – solid single-wire conductors. The absence of armor or shielding enhances flexibility and simplifies installation in areas without significant electromagnetic interference. The minimum bending radius of 154 mm allows routing even in confined spaces without risk of conductor damage.
The outer sheath is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing resistance to abrasion and environmental exposure. The cable complies with EN 60332-1-2 standard for flame non-propagation, enhancing operational safety. Its fire reaction class Eca ensures an additional level of fire protection. Note: This cable does not include a protective barrier or an earth conductor – these functions must be provided through appropriate installation solutions.
