This support insulator, designated SDI83.2M24, is a key element in the construction and maintenance of power lines. Designed to mount PAS conductors at through and corner positions with support insulation, it provides a reliable and secure connection. Construction and application

This insulator is distinguished by its construction, which allows it to be used as a single element in PAS lines, while maintaining the restrictions of degree 2 in accordance with N-SEP 003:2003. It is equipped with a steel, galvanized pin with a length of 140 mm with an M24 thread (thread length 120 mm), which facilitates assembly and ensures a solid mechanical connection. The through-type holder further increases functionality, allowing flexible cable routing.

Parameters and safety

The construction of this insulator has been tested for resistance to extreme conditions. It withstands impulse lightning voltage in dry conditions up to 156 kV and AC voltage at network frequency in rain up to 77 kV. The minimum disruptive load is 12500 kN, which guarantees stability even under high mechanical loads. The rated creepage distance is 688 mm, which improves safety.
