Fuse disconnect switch – reliable installation protection

This three-pole fuse disconnect switch, with a rated current of 400A, is a key element ensuring safety and continuity of power supply in low-voltage networks. Designed to work with NH2 fuse links, it provides solid protection against overloads and short circuits. The design allows operation from ground level using special ST33 operating rods, which increases convenience and safety.

Functionality and application

The SZ400.3 disconnect switch finds wide application in both cable and overhead installations. Its solid construction and high resistance to atmospheric conditions make it an ideal solution for industrial facilities, public buildings and electricity distribution networks. It can function as a main or safety disconnect switch, providing effective circuit isolation when needed. Thanks to the possibility of mounting fuses with different current values (up to 400A), it can be adapted to the specific requirements of a given installation.

Construction features and mounting

The disconnect switch is characterized by side cable entry, which facilitates its installation and connection. It is equipped with six KG43.6 terminals, which ensure a secure and durable connection of conductors with a cross-section from 16 mm² to 240 mm² (Al) or 10 mm² to 95 mm² (Cu). The solid construction guarantees long-term and trouble-free operation of the device. It is worth noting the possibility of using it as an emergency disconnect switch – although it does not have a built-in motor drive, it can be easily equipped with additional control elements. The lack of fuse status monitoring requires regular visual checks of the protection status.
