The SZ24 air disconnect switch is a key element of power infrastructure, designed for the safe and efficient disconnection of damaged sections of medium voltage (MV) lines. Construction and application

The SZ24 disconnect switch finds wide application in MV networks where rapid isolation of a network segment is necessary in the event of a failure or the need to perform maintenance work. It allows the isolation of both a damaged section of the line and a section of the MV network, e.g. an MV/LV transformer station. The use of CT 60.50 and CT48.64 rods allows for safe manipulation of the disconnect switch without the need to climb power poles. The tulip contact ensures reliable and secure circuit disconnection.
