Construction and parameters
The busbar consists of 12 lamellae with a thickness of 1 mm, giving a total cross-section of 1200 mm². The rated operating current is as high as 1600 A (at ΔT 40 K), making it suitable for applications requiring high loads. The dimensions of the busbar are 200 mm long and 100 mm wide. Tinning of the copper ensures excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The laminated construction further increases mechanical strength and insulation.
It is worth noting the correction factors for increased current: 1.6 for x2 and 2.02 for x3 – this information is helpful in designing more complex power systems.
