Flat tinned copper braid for grounding and power distribution

This insulated, flat copper braid, made of non-magnetic material, is widely used in grounding systems and power distribution. Its construction, based on a braid of copper wire, provides flexibility and ease of installation, especially in confined spaces. The braid is tinned, which increases its corrosion resistance.

Features and application

FTCBI 16 braid is a proven component in electrical installations. The flat shape facilitates mounting and routing of cables, and the PVC insulation protects against short circuits and mechanical damage. This makes it suitable for both industrial and residential applications. It is ideal for creating equipotential bonding connections and in lightning protection systems.

• Made of tinned copper (CuSn), which guarantees good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
• PVC insulation with a thickness of 1 mm ensures safe use and resistance to mechanical damage – withstands voltage up to 450V.
• Non-magnetic material minimizes electromagnetic interference in the installation.
• Braid with 896 copper wires with a diameter of 0.15 mm provides high flexibility and mechanical strength.

The braid is supplied in rolls of 25 meters in length, which facilitates its transport and installation. The dimensions of the braid are 3.5 mm x 17 mm, which allows it to be adapted to various applications.
