Earthing braids – reliability and easy installation

IBSB ADVANCED insulated braids are ready-to-use earthing conductors, providing an alternative to traditional cables. This eliminates the need for time-consuming cutting, stripping and crimping of terminals, which translates into time and cost savings for both the installer and the user. The product is designed for a wide range of applications, from 80A to 630A.

Construction and materials

The braid is made of high-quality electrolytic copper, ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The strands are tinned, and the whole is surrounded by a durable, thermoplastic insulation – halogen-free, low smoke and flame retardant (UL 94 V0). The construction with a multi-strand flexible strand class 5 provides flexibility and facilitates installation in tight spaces. The flat shape of the strand also makes it easier to route the cables.
