Braided cords in IBSB ADVANCED 25-430-6 insulation 534402
Product Features
- High quality
- Easy and reliable installation – insulated braids
IBSB ADVANCED insulated braids are ready-to-use conductors, serving as an alternative to traditional cables. This eliminates the need for time-consuming cutting, stripping insulation, and crimping terminals, which translates into time and cost savings for both the installer and the user. The product is designed for use with automatic circuit breakers, offering a wide operating range from 80A to 630A.
Construction and materials
The braid is made of high-quality electrolytic copper with a wire diameter of 0.15 mm, which ensures its exceptional flexibility and resistance to vibrations. Tinned copper provides additional protection against corrosion, guaranteeing long-term reliability. The insulation is made of a thermoplastic halogen-free material, low smoke and flame retardant (UL® 94 VO), which increases safety. The cable has a perforated grounding connector and a connection strip, which facilitates installation and integration with the installation.
Applications and benefits
IBSB ADVANCED braids are used in a wide range of electrical installations, both in residential and industrial construction. They are ideal for grounding connections and as flexible protective conductors. Thanks to their construction, they provide:
- Quick installation: Ready to use – no need to prepare wires.
- High flexibility: Allows easy routing in tight spaces.
- Reliability: Made of high-quality materials resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.
- Safety: Halogen-free insulation minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire.
- Versatility: Wide current range (80-630A) allows use in various installations.
- Vibration resistance: Provides a stable connection even under high dynamic loads.
- Easy grounding: Perforated grounding connector facilitates connection to the grounding system.
Additionally, the braid is characterized by a flat conductor shape and tinned surface, which improves electrical conductivity and minimizes the risk of contact corrosion. A length of 430 mm and a connection hole diameter of 6.5 mm ensure compatibility with most standard automatic circuit breakers available on the market.
